The following story is about Max, a Red Collie mix who detected something depressing about his human that even medical machines and imaging could not. When Max’s human Maureen discovered a lump in her breast, she was tested and took a mammogram which revealed no cancer, but Max wasn’t satisfied with this diagnosis and tried something else.
