We recently posted a story about a service dog that risked his life to save his owner, but sometimes it happens the other way around, too. This couple could have easily left their dogs to fend for themselves, but they chose to keep their family together even during a harrowing and life threatening calamity. In truth, we think there are probably a lot of people out there who would risk their lives to save their pets, but we’re curious to know how many.
