SafetyPUP Dog Vest Team Celebrates… National Day of the Horse?

Granted, horses are not dogs. However, you may not know that some dogs are as big as horses! In honor of National Day of the Horse, the SafetyPUP reflective dog vest team would like to honor one of the most memorable canines to ever leave his paw print in history, the large and lovable Giant George. George was a blue Great Dane born on November 7th 2005, and was cared for by the Nasser family in Tucson, Arizona. At his largest, George weighed 245 pounds, was 43 inches tall at the shoulder, and measured an astounding 7 feet 3 inches long from nose to tailbone. At home, George slept on his very own queen sized bed, and on the airplane flight to his television debut on the Oprah Winfrey Show, George was given an entire row of airplane seats to himself. George passed away in October of 2013, but his legend lives on. While our dog vest is not yet available in a size that would fit George, the SafetyPUP team would like to remember George on this special day.
